Polish Song ?

I have a book which appears to have song Lyrics.
Can anyone tell me what it says.
I hope that there is nothing bad contained in the text

this might be a poem written by a young soldier for his girlfriend, Andzia [it is a pet name of Anna].

Please look at the following Polish version and English translation.

This is from a book which my Father bought with him to England just after the war.
There are many other pages which I thought were all songs.

All the Polish speakers are gone from my family.
How strange that we named our daughter Anna,

Gdzie jest ta ulica - first four lines are the refrain of the Polish song Szła dzieweczka do laseczka. But other lines are not.
