Family Kalinke from Pleschen and Stawiszyn

27 sty 2014, 20:18

Hello,

my name is Paulo and I'm writing you from Brazil. I'm researching my family, and with the help of some german researchers I've been very successful until now when we're pretty much stuck and can't go further because there isn't any LDS microfilms room working where I live and the records I need to access aren't online.

I need to find the birth record for Karl Kalinke(or Johann Karl Kalinke as it appears in some documents). He is son of Karl Kalinke and Emilie Kant, he was born in Pleschen around 1854 and the family were Lutheran. I believe his parents were married in Pleschen also, around 1852.

Do you know if it is possible to access the records of Pleschen remotely? I intend to go to the archives of Poznan and Kalisz myself in the future, but since Poland isn't around the corner for me, for the moment the travel and the expenses don't fit in my student budget.

Hope you understand and know how to help me.
Best regards,
Paulo
