Lukasz's Map

25 kwi 2014, 11:36

Today I found Lukasz's Map.

How surprised was I to see that the file opened using my copy of Google Earth. So I got to see the map overlays and all the work around Parish Churches.

This is such a useful resource for researching the areas where my distant ancestors came from..

Very nice work Lukasz Bielecki.

If you found something interesting, please share it with us. What's that map, could you give a link to it?

Hello,

It was a KMZ file
Pozen Recoords 7
It opens with Google Earth and it has a large map with parish church boundaries etc.

I now see that it has been discussed elsewhere on this forum.

I did not even know Jim Birkholz used my data that way, it is him to commend.

I rely on imagery and data displayed in this way is fantastic.
I never dreamed that I could find my family history in Poland.

I use Google Earth all the time so this is fantastic for me.
Obviously the Poznan Project is a gift to all of us. Well Done.

Thank you.
