Thank You!
Good Link.
It seems that the name "Lorentz" is not common in Poland, so I may have to work with the idea
that his original name was "Laurentius", which seems to be a common name in Poland at the time. Maybe he changed
his name to Lorentz, when he signed in as a citizen and tailor in Hadersleben. Just my initial thoughts. The surname - Friebert / Fribert
also is not common in Poland at the time, so it seems. So that leads med to another theory that this was the surname
of is wife Agnethe (I think she is from Rostock, but do not have proof yet). Yes, this is a troublesome quest
There was a Laurentius Kaczka from 1601 with parents: Jacobus and Anna. Interesting, as one of 'Lorents' sons was called Jacobus Fribertus (born in Hadersleben in 1639).
Thanks
Johnny Fribert
