Hallo in die Runde
Ich bin auf der Suche nach möglichen Strassenverzeichnissen/Adressbüchern/Einwohnerverzeichnissen von Strelno, Mogilno zwischen 1939 und 1945. Mein Großvater (Herkunft/Identität unbekannt) hat dort mit seiner Adoptivmutter in der betreffenden Zeit gewohnt. Sie war Reichspostangestellte.
Mein Großvater erinnert sich an eine „Scheunenstraße“ in der sie gewohnt haben sollen.
Leider ist das polnische Archiv ja zur Zeit komplett down aber vielleicht gibt es ja noch irgendwo Bestände bei anderen Ämtern ?
Ich bin um jede Information und jeden Tipp dankbar .

I'm looking for possible street directories/address books/resident directories of Strelno, Mogilno between 1939 and 1945. My grandfather (origin/identity unknown) lived there with his adoptive mother at the time in question. She was a post office employee.
My grandfather remembers a street called „Scheunenstraße“ where they are said to have lived.
Unfortunately, the Polish archive is completely down at the moment, but maybe there are still stocks somewhere in other offices?
I am grateful for every piece of information and every tip.

If allowed so: did you ever look for the maps from the WW2 concerning Warthegau?
Or Westpreussen? You could follow such path:also the military maps from the year 1945.
With the battles,displacement of troops.Also with the locations of military troops.
Maybe they will be sufficiently accurate to show the town of Strelno with the street
layout?Maybe something of them avoided burning down due to wartime events?
There also is a supposition that some lesser important streets of there got back their old
names from the former Prussian times after the wartime events of 1939.
Anyway may you look in place for the old Prussian maps.And may you try to look for
the societies grouping the former residents of Strelno within the said period of years
and made to move to the Germany after the year 1945.All this is possible to be done
with yourselves in place.Myself I live far away of Strelno and can not visit it
to help you more.

after having put ot Google the following tag: Strzelno plan miasta (Stadtplan,map of the town).
If you have got any further details from your still alive relatives regarding the vicinity of such location of street,
e.g. proximity of a church, city hall etc.this could be an indication for your further seeking.
I tried to find a Barn Street (translated now from German into English):I didn't find any its Polish equivalent
in the said town plan.

W Strzelnie była ulica Scheunenstrasse- poniżej można zobaczyć zapisy z tej ulicy, jest kilka nazwisk, daty urodzenia, itd. Jednostka nie jest dostępna w necie, ale kilka informacji wyświetla się- dotyczy to roku 1940.
There was a Scheunenstrasse in Strzelno - below you can see records from this street, there are several names, dates of birth, etc. The unit is not available online, but some information is displayed - it concerns the year 1940.

Thank you for your advice and the links provided. Iam sorry for my late answer but my grandpa died and it wasn’t possible for me to get back into the topic of searching for his origins sooner.
